or just a great way to give yourself a new look.
This process only available at a handful of salons is one of the Colour Room’s specialties. The
product is carefully applied section by section with a flat iron, so please realize you might be
with us quite a few hours the day that you have your hair straightened…but trust us, it is worth
the wait. One Colour Room client that had struggled with frizzy hard-to-manage hair for years
was quoted as saying, “After my hair was straightened, I went to work the next day and
someone said, ‘Your hair looks gorgeous!’ It was the first time I remember in my 40 years of life
that anyone had ever complimented me on my hair.”

Straightening system prices are quoted by consultation.
A non-refundable deposit is required for straightening procedures
because of the extended time we must block out on our schedule

HOW IT WORKS:
This natural Japanese Straightening system is used in conjunction with a straightening iron
that seals in the hair's moisture and shine when the Japanese Straightening process is
complete.

The straightening takes 3-5 hours. With the Japanese Straightening your hair will
never lose its straightness so you simply return to the salon for 1-2 touch-ups a year.
It works by loosening the hairs cystine protein bands. It reshapes the bands by straightening
the hair cells with the use of a heat iron while a Bromide Neutralizer makes it permanent.
With the treatment even naturally curly or coarse hair is not only straightened and frizz-free for
months, but its actually healthier, softer and boasting more gloss and shine. Clients can still
curl and style, but most are just happy to wake-up everyday with a blow-out straight hairstyle.
